As of 20 July 2022, certificate requests in AutoDNS and SSL Manager can no longer be accepted if the Organization Unit (OU) field is filled. The control is performed during the CSR check; an error message may appear. Please note that renews are also affected. TLS/SSL certificates issued by 20 July 2022, with an entry in the OU field will still be classified as trustworthy after this deadline.

The reason: According to CAB/Forum guidelines, the OU field is being eliminated industry-wide because it would be the only non-validated field in TLS/SSL certificates that could be used in a misleading manner.
